Abstract
We report a polarization insensitive fiber-based NOLM scheme that incorporates non-PM fibers as the non-linear medium. The circuit is configured to operate as a fiber compressor and produces narrow and pedestal-free optical pulses. The FRM stabilization ensures the excellent performance regardless of any externally applied perturbations.
