The goal of this project is the development of an innovative software for the protection of executable and data files of a D.V.D.-R.O.M., and allow the access of the content from the Internet. The project consists of three components. The first component deals with the development of the software that forbids the illegal copy of the content of a D.V.D.. The second component deals with the development of a software that supports safe transactions through the internet by using mechanisms of access control and advanced cryptographic techniques. The third component of the project, deals with the development of software that authenticates the origin of data file which are under copyright (audio, video files and movies). These three components will integrate into a software package which can be used in a wide range of DVDROM applications.
