The paper titled "Kafebook: Extending Social Networking Spaces using Smartphones and Public Displays" by I. Oikonomidis, E. Theodoridis and G. Mylonas won the best paper award at the 5th Panhellenic Scientific Conference for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Students in Computer Engineering, Informatics, related Technologies and Applications (EUREKA! 2011).
