December 4th-5th 2013

The final review meeting for the SmartSantander project was held at the premises of the University of Cantabria, Santander, on December 4th-5th. After 3 years of hard work, all the partners presented their work, accompanied by a set of demonstrations showcasing the services offered by the project. These were combined with the demonstrations of the sets of experiments chosen during the 2nd open call for experiments of the project.

CTI demonstrated a smartphone experimentation prototype system, developed in the last year of the project. The system enables researchers to utilise groups of volunteers that offer their smartphones' sensing and computing resources to be used in the context of a smart city project such as SmartSantander.
